Everyone connected with The Emerald Club were deeply saddened to hear of the recent passing of our great friend – Francis Crawford.
Frank was a wonderful committee colleague for many years and he was always the first to volounteer for any work that needed carrying out for the benefit of the club and its members.
Frank was also a keen and talented dancer – much loved by all the set dancers on Tuesday nights.
He was a proud Irishman and an inspiration to us all. He will be sadly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
We can now announce the funeral arrangements for our great friend, Frank:
Funeral Mass: Friday 2nd February, 12:30PM, St Patrick’s Catholic Church. (Wolverhampton Road, Heath Town, Wolverhampton, WV10 0QQ)
Followed by burial at Danescourt Cemetery. (Wergs Road, Wolverhampton, WV6 9BS)
Following the burial, everyone is welcome back to The Emerald Club to join Frank’s family and friends.
The thoughts and prayers of everyone at The Emerald Club remain with Frank’s family at this sad time.
Eternal rest grant unto him o Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace, Amen.
